Join us for a Nature Walk 

With local arborist Rich Whitehead. Learn how to recognize tree species from studying bark and other indicators, when leaves are absent. And, learn about the diversity of our local wintering shrubs, plants, and wildlife.

Rich Whitehead is a licensed Connecticut arborist, chair of the Norwalk Tree Advisory Committee, and member of both the Norwalk Tree Alliance and the Connecticut Tree Protective Association.

Shake off the Winter Doldrums and Walk Among the Trees! 

Sponsored by the Oak Hills Park Nature Advisory Committee, the walk begins at 1 p.m.

Meet at the trail head near the parking area outside of the clubhouse/restaurant.

In case of inclement weather, the walk will be held the following Saturday, March 2.

Wear boots with good traction as the trail is winding and steep in places.

Be ready to see winter’s natural beauty!
