Head Golf Professional

Paul was born in NYC and grew up in Harrison, NY where he learned to play golf at Westchester Country Club under the supervision of one of the world's best teaching professionals, Jim McLean. Paul lived in Colorado for fifteen years graduating from University of Colorado at Boulder and worked for many years at Bear Creek Golf Club in Denver. Paul returned home to the Metropolitan Section in 1998 to take a job for three years at Ridgeway Country Club in White Plains, NY. From 2001-2004 Paul was the Playing and Teaching Professional at the famed Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, NY. From 2004-2011 Paul was the Head Golf Professional at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, NY. In 2012 he became the Director of Instruction at Oak Hills Park Golf Course in Norwalk, CT. Today he is the Head Golf Professional at Oak Hills Park and lives in Norwalk. Paul has played golf in the US Amateur, on numerous professional tours, was runner up in the NY State Open, holds two course records, and has four hole in ones. His favorite place to play golf is in Ireland. Paul's father, Jules Alexander, was a well-known professional photographer who has taken photographs of golf's greatest tour players. Paul's brother Carl is the Director of Golf at GC of Purchase in Purchase, NY.
