Saturday September 22, 2018: 8:00-9:30 A.M.
at Oak Hills Park, Norwalk

Join us for a quiet nature walk with local bird guide Charlie Taney. Learn to spot resident and migrating birds in the woodlands in our community. Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act by declaring 2018 as “Year of the Bird”.

This free guided bird walk, sponsored by the Oak Hills Park Nature Advisory Committee, begins at 8 a.m. Meet at the trail head near the parking area behind the clubhouse/restaurant. Bring your field glasses or binoculars.

Charlie Taney is Executive Director of the Norwalk River Valley Trail, President of the Manresa Association, and is a resident of the Village Creek neighborhood in Norwalk.

Wear sturdy shoes as the trail is winding and steep in places.
Be ready to see our community’s natural beauty!
