YellowBird

Join us for a quiet nature walk with local bird guide Chris Bosak. Learn to spot resident and migrating birds in the woodlands in our community. Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act by declaring 2018 as “Year of the Bird”.

This free guided bird walk, sponsored by the Oak Hills Park Nature Advisory Committee, begins at 7 a.m. Meet at the trail head near the parking area outside of the clubhouse/restaurant. Bring your field glasses or binoculars.

Chris Bosak has written his For the Birds column for various New England newspapers for nearly 20 years, and his nature photographs and writings have appeared in publications throughout the region.

In case of rain/bad weather, the walk will be held the following Saturday, May 19. Wear hiking shoes or boots with good traction as the trail is winding and steep in places. Be ready to see our community’s natural beauty!
